We decided to beat the heat in Milwaukee by heading south to the great state of Tennessee. But really, all we did was exchange one muggy city for another. As relief from the elements, we escaped into the air-conditioned confines of the splendid McKay Books and CDs.
It is a challenge to walk out of that place empty-handed. McKay has the most extensive array of used books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes I have ever seen. As one easily carried away by the abundance of good fortune, I pared down half the books piled in my stash before heading to the register. It was a good day for art books; I came away with six. Here are three of the bargains.
Picasso, Paul McCartney Paintings and Paul Davis; could you tell I hovered in the “P” section?
Thank goodness I wasn’t flying. Those who lug art books know what I mean.
Coming next: Yes, my own little Monet!
Love, the way you express your thoughts. I always start thinking about what you have said and the truth and positive things YOU think. Thank you, Lillian! You Millers are all pretty amazing.
I’ve been there before. Great deals on movies and books!
